The Cave

The Cave is a visual experience commissioned by Rotterdam Airport - The Hague. Its located at the passengers terminal. In a series of black and white images that transform into abstract shapes and react with the background of the light sensitive screen, the passengers of the airport will be taking the place of the prisoners in Plato’s allegory of the cave. The images that will be shown depict a disrupted reality exactly as the shadows are projected on the walls in the allegory of the cave. This visual experience consists of 3 stages.
